"Colorado moon"

When the sun goes down,
another day turns to night.
the fire flies do take their flight.
the moon then shimmers crystal clear...

                                                     ...lake so bright.

It could only be another "Colorado moon"

As the great bon fire dances in her sight,
drowning out the darkness with all of her might.
her light is seen a million miles around

As the world sleeps, she can only be found
Her bright waves of power, could never be bound.

Her midnight madness leaves no room...

                                                       ...not the almighty fire,

but the "Colorado moon"
