He gently awakened me

Holding my hand leading

Me to the dining room.

Humbly I bowed my knees

In awe of Him....,.I prayed earnestly...

Yet found it increasingly difficult,

Not knowing what to say to Him......

Eyes becoming so heavy......filled with sleep!

Turning then to get up from my knees..... frustrated

Wanting to go back to my bed!

Immediately......His voice of comfort and Love

Spoke up......"Don't go, stay with Me. "

His words changed my life

While kneeling  beside a wooden chair

At the dining room table.....the place where

He turned my darkness into light....turning

My sorrow into joy..... filling my mouth with laughter!

My Ebenezer an encounter I shall never forget!
