My weary heart now needs a rest, from the rush of days gone by, So I lift my heart up to the sun as I breathe in the deep blue sky.
My sorrow won’t cry her tears for you, my lonely heart tries not to notice you are gone... But each and every time I look inside I find the words to a brand new song.
I thought my heart was doing well as I turned and walked away; But every now and then I stop and I ask, "Why did love turn out this way?"
I don’t know that I will ever understand the Lord’s reasons for this going awry; I trust that my God knows what is best for me... And greet the blessings of each day with Love’s sigh.
