The universe has its own timeframe. In linear space and time (which are one and the same) we feel urged to solve issues in one lifetime, while in reality we have all the divine time of the universe to accomplish what needs to be taken care of. I dropped the urge and try eversince to let the Light guide me, to let it determine the pace of all my lives in space and time.

I will say it again, probably for the . . . Oh, I don't know . . . many times, if there wasn't a God we would have to invent Him. The human animal needs spiritual and moral guidance, because if we don't have that we will imediately revert back to the full animal, and the human part will cease to exists. Good thinking, pondering, poetry.

Very thought provoking write and one I am sure will make people pause and think which is what the written word should always do. As an a non religious type person, who does believe their is a higher power, just no longet believe it is one that other writers decided this is what we should believe a long time ago. I think god as such resides in our hearts and our minds which together combine to form our souls and our reason for existance. Love of life and our fellow man is my way to worship and pray and that is what I believe.

You certainly open the door for debate! Knowing you are a believer I can only reiterate that we who believe do so because the spirit within us has been quickened by Our Creator when we chose to believe. That leaves us with no doubt about a God. However, we may still have doubts about religion and how the bible is taught and many of the things we learned from teachers and preachers who know less than we do for they didn't have the spirit of discernment! Excellent poem Susan!

You set the bar of excellence in poetic debate, for all to contribute and contest, as it should be...
I believe a professional and exemplary poet should always set his or her standards unquestionably high, and create objects of passion, that make for a good and wholesome debate, leaving all options and interpretations on the board, for their discerning readership, to evaluate in their own personal and unique way !
As for God being a dream, I believe he is a tangible God, who appears for those who diligently and passionately seek him !
