Susan, this is a lovely poem and reflects your spirit of adventure and willingness to experience all that life has to offer on your own terms. A willingness to take chances is, I believe, an important element in writing good poetry. Great write!

Susan, it is so good to be home again and reading the passion of your writing, your heart as we have often discussed in past and mine have travelled many the same memories in the past. This write in its pure reflection is almost royal in the way I see you, the picture of your youth is gorgeous but the enduring beauty of your heart is eternal.

Loved it...I think the slow dance comes with age and wisdom, we learn to slow down and appreciate the things that we took for granted when we were young. Great write my friend, dance on!

...slow dance...and you memorized every step. You always make me stop what I'm doing and take a few minutes to think.
