Soaring on wings of the endless dawn
Skimming the earth...only as pawns
Before we know it...
In no time at all
We'll deserve what we have
With no where to fall
Let favorite illusions be as they must
Fleeting they come
As going they rust
We've visited before
Devored it all
Savored the taste and just had a ball
Together as friends
Escorting our muse
Shared ageless beauty and boundless reviews
Dearest of hearts and ageless ambitions
Hold me quick...fast
Keep tight this transition
Tomorrow will come and in all our haste
The sunset will blossom with no after taste
Then just as the midnight collapses around us
Our daydreams balloon ...
Our tears become rusted
Our hearts will regain what beat it remembers
As dawn brings new drama to dying old embers
And daylight reminds us that living is pain
Until nighttime commits us to travel again.
You hold onto the magic of the twixt times, Susan; that fleeting time between heartbeats when all doors are opened and none closed. Love certainly holds that luminous gap ajar. Your artist's eye and poet's gift of insight and precision deliver yet another skilfully crafted mind-painting of the brightest palette of words. TY Kate xx
This book consists of a 150 pages of Christian poetry about the end of time and the Second coming of Jesus Christ not as a servant but as a King, the King of kings. To bring righteousness and peace to the earth and restore the government of God! Peac
