Poem Artwork

The splendor of a moment worn slightly on the lips
The satisfied reflection of a passion slowly sipped
Either in a memory or filtered through a dream
Or a quiet conversation, not meaning anything
But silently reflections... worth, Oh! So much more
It grows with every thought process and permeates your pores
It's crazy how a moment. can bring the treasures here
When you least expect the passion, emerges from somewhere
Not much to begin with this crazy trip for two
But since my thoughts have fermented
The more I dream of you.

There is a coziness to this. One that sustains the heart and makes me feel better for having read it. Thank you.

God bless you. Kathy

I remember this one, Susan! You have a pattern and rhythm all your own which, coupled with your signature phrasing, makes for memorable and stimulating poetry. From the first to the last line, this poem rocks along and kicks wonderfully like a single malt! Smacking my lips in satisfied delight here! :)) TY Kate xx

Susan this is a lovely write that is as always open and honest and one we can all relate easily too. Love is never truly planned it is a meeting of mind and hearts that somehow either react in an explosion of passion or from a spark grows steadily into a deep eternal love.Either love is a treasure and a memory of life. Well done Susan...
