Negotiated silence in this busy world
Straining to reap the dream
From constant pining and this aching swirl
In this vast valley of yearning
In my endless quest for time
To spend each eager moment
In his embrace...entertwined
Leaning into this daydream
Preparing for the sun
To warm this ache I have for him
In anquished desire my body hums
As heated rays kiss my flesh
When moisture emerges where
Each passion point of my desire
For him explodes and burns
His growth emerges boundless
My dreams bring him around
To being cloaked within my soul
To sculpting me complete ... his whole
Silence for these moments
Gripped in love's array
Playing with each wish for him
To dwell within my everyday.
Susan, I can feel this so deeply,knowing every nuance of feeling you have since it seems women are always yearning for love since time robs us of it too often...Superb poem!
