LOVE SHOWS
Us guys really aren’t stupid,
we just make a lot of mistakes,
but just a little more consideration
is really all it takes.
I’m so lucky I found my Sweetie,
or maybe she found me.
It really doesn’t matter,
I’m as tickled as I can be.
But, where I fail,,, is in making sure
she knows that’s how I feel.
She needs to be regularly reassured,
that this love of ours is real.
You can’t simply say I love you,
it constantly needs to show.
If all you do is say it,
she’ll never really know.
Little gestures are so important
to reveal your true emotions.
If you want her to know you love her,
you’ve got to exhibit the notion.
Do the laundry, sweep the floor
cook her the occasional meal.
If she’s to truly believe you love her
you must demonstrate how you feel.
Compliment her cooking,
then get up and do the dishes.
Try to think a step ahead,
anticipate her wishes.
Kiss her for no particular reason
share an unexpected hug
and wear a bag over your head
so she can’t see your ugly mug.
Woops!!!!
Now she’s putting words in my mouth.
That's not what I meant to say,,,,,
This is....
Kiss her without a reason,
hug her with every kiss.
Show her it’s important to you
and that nothing compares to this.

Perhaps I'll try that next since I already clean house, do laundry, do the grocery shopping, clean litter boxes, and go out on Doggy Poop Patrol.
