Poem Artwork

Pick my words apart,
I ripped them from heart.
Put them to ink,
don't care what others think.
View me as a blank sheet,
cause I'll stomp your feet.

These words ain't,
knock you down to faint.
I'm not even here,
my words have no fear.
Their origination,
might as well be elimination.

Just words of a nobody,
not really somebody.
I'm so very obscure,
but my heart is pure.
Some pick my words apart,
but I know my heart.

Cool! You picked your words well :)! G.E. will you lend me your comb? (Sorry, couldn't resist :).) I applaud you!
Although my mother-in-law and husband spoke Spanish as their 'native' language BOTH insist 'I' (a straight 'A' student in high school and college) don't use correct English! I 'do' bend words in poetry and speech, but 'when I was child' is NOT saying 'I was TWICE a child' as they claim :)!
You have my permission to comb my work with a 'fine tooth comb' :)!
Keep in touch and take care.
:)Sandy

Well I don't feel you are a nobody either and yes people go over my words with a fine tooth comb. My husband has a uncle that does that. I agree that the naysayers will always find something to be negative about.

Grady, you'll always be somebody to those who read your work. I like the rhyming pattern and the rhythm.
