Got no time for the mission impossible, not when there's some fun to be had.
Trying to get some happiness out of life, control the misery and strife. Mission is possible sometime, especially if we let our good side sublime. Getting stuck in a mean say, can mess up a sunshine day. Sun shining all bright, mind can’t seem to see the light. By the time it comes around, up comes the ground.
Other fools doing all they can, to throw a monkey wrench in a joy plan. Out the door we go smiling, around the corner fools compiling. We arrive on the scene, nothing but an atmosphere of mean.
Sometimes it’s hard to ignore, the darkness that walks through the door. But merrily I stroll along, knowing where my heart and soul belong. Refusing to be moved from a good feeling, even with the devil double dealing.
Sooner or later I might take my dive, but I know where I love too survive. So I start reaching, listening to the Holy Man preaching. I don't stop, until I get back on top.
You write with such strength and positivity. Yes we will get poked from time to time but writing gives you and us all that form of release. Thnaks for sharing this poem with me and all here at the Den.
