First of all, first of all, don't feel sorry for Jolly. Jolly knows himself very well. He knows what makes him sad. He knows what makes him happy. Jolly knows it's not wise to feel like we are perfect when almost every move we make meets disaster. If you're feeling perfect and everything is going good then enjoy your good thrill. But if you're feeling like God's gift to earth and treating everyone else like they're inferior then you need to go back to the drawing board. If you're doing stupid like overindulging in alcohol, drugs and sex then you need to go back to the drawing board. Especially if you're driving almost drunk and risking your life and the lives of others, you need to go back to the drawing board. Jolly knows he's just human and if you're human you have a little fool, a little stupidity and a little negativity in you. Some have more than others. Jolly knows that happiness is making a choice in the mental mind and sticking to the choice regardless. Life is an up and down affair, it's good to get it in the head. There's no such thing as perfectly happy or perfectly sad. I know this young man and his family who live in the perfectionist realm. It would be cool if their actions were perfect but their actions don't match their attitude. The young man uses too many drugs, can't keep a job and plays the blame game big time. The father feels he's God's gift to earth but he can't even get along with his children. And he's over inflated and doesn't know how to treat others. No, Jolly don't want no parts of this type foolishness. So the adventure goes on.
Hello folks,
I'm Jolly Good,
because I did not to want to be in a Sad Mack mood. I shot that fool down, to help bring more joy for me around. Don't get confused about my name, I make my share of mistakes the same.
I'd love to be able to walk on water, but I'll settle for a common sense barter. I know I can't smile everyday, cause like you Sad Mack sometimes gets in my way. His relatives will be chasing, and in some of my adventures them I'll be erasing.
We have to fight Sad Mack's everyday, if we want to be happy in anyway. It's a struggle out and in, if we want to be happy and win.
I use to do foolish things and still sometimes do, so did my creator dictating this poem to you. But we both try to cut our losses, doing foolish dumb tosses.
I use to ride my horse drunk, fall off and couldn't get to my bunk. He, the poet writing, use to drink and drive, he's lucky to be alive. I use to get stuck on revenge and hate, ride my horse up to hells gate. He use to do the same, one day we both got real close to the devils flame. We both almost got demon torched, had to run with our butts scorched.
The poet and I teamed up, cause we got tired of being corrupt. Oh, we weren't that bad, and we're darn sho glad. We've never been that sad either, nor stupidly depressed neither.
We're just humans at heart, trying to be good in part. So we shoot for one hundred percent, knowing we can't pay the rent, but maybe we can repent, at least try to live under loves tent.
