Food is just food to the
spoon and fork,
it doesn't care whether it's
chicken, beef or pork.
Neither does where it drop,
the stomach where it stop.
Even the brain doesn't care,
long as some nourishment
gets there.

The spoon will go on operating,
as long as the brain does
no negotiating.
So will the fork,
it doesn't mind digging
in the pork.
As long as hunger gets satisfied,
the body could care less about
being dignified.

In jumps intelligence,
or the doctor with his
diagnostic sentence.
So we'd better learn too,
eat to live as opposed too,
living to eat everything in view,
then throwing the leftovers
in a stew.

Long after we're gone,
the spoon and fork will still be
holding their throne.
