I have a brother
that is white,
I have a brother
that is yellow light.
I have a brother
that is red,
all this racial hate
needs to be put to bed,
but it lingers
around instead.
The color of skin,
doesn't even start to
explain what is in,
Jesus died for all our sin.
Humanity
isn't only skin deep,
this won't keep.
It's the deep down,
where the
heart and soul
are found.
My Assignment
earth man,
black man to be exact,
The Lord made it a fact.
Member of the human race,
still others judge me
by the color of my face.
There were times when
my brothers would
disappear without a trace.
We may be different colors, speak different languages, but our blood is one of the same! RED! Doesn't matter! Powerful call for change and acceptance; bravo, Gem! One of your best yet!

Grady, that is a magnificent work reflecting our need to put aside racial differences. (Except I am having trouble with this jihad crap.) I've always had a mini United Nations around me, so never could understand the fuss. We all have our purpose. If everyone intermarried, we'd put an end to this nonsense for good.
Just as life during the pandemic was color-coded with different hues representing different levels of danger, life in its aftermath has become shaded in similar ways. As a self-styled “Seeker of Beauty with Beauty,” (borrowing from a quote by W.E.B.
