A fictional romantic poem of love, my character loves his sweet treat, visits the candy store.
Walked in the candy store you weren't there,
gave the clerk a
disappointing stare.
Searched through all
the sweets,
didn't find you among
the treats.
Asked Zeus to close
the candy store down,
he sent Cupid to
search around.
Hera zoomed through
kissed my face
sad and blue.
Until I find you
it will keep its hue.
Where oh where can
my baby be,
with the God's help she'll
soon be here with me?
All of a sudden I
sat up in bed,
realized it was a
sweet dream in my head.
Candy...he calls his sugar Candy, but only in his dreams. Just who was it poked you awake from your dreams, Gem? :o) You have been such a romantic of late...and a delight to read...all the time...
