Don't make my day,
I don't trust,
it's after a good day
I lust.
For me a good day
is a must.
So for this reason
others I can't trust.
Other people will monkey
wrench our day,
try to make two people
happy and play,
one being you,
the other makes two.
I'm a collector,
if I take my wife with me,
it's a sad face I see.
I love writing verse,
my wife hates it worse.
She says I'm always
on my laptop,
her attitude goes pop,
if I don't stop.
I'm happiest best
when I'm alone,
no stone throwers stone.
No crying and complaining,
only one umbrella
needed when raining.
Two under one umbrella
makes for a wet fellow.
Of course it takes
two to tango,
if you don't dance,
you can stay at home.
If you like frowning
you'll hate my clowning.
I'm fun loving,
I don't go for the
pushing and shoving.
Romeo and Juliet
made their own day,
of course Shakespeare
wrote it this way.
I'm not leaving my day
up to you,
all I might get is the screw.
