Feel the way you want,
or feel the way you don't,
maybe you thrill
maybe you won't.
I'm just curious,
why some take verse so serious?
Maybe it hits home,
makes their brain roam.
Then again who knows
which way the verse blows?
It could be a whip,
popping with a stinging tip,
hey near east traveling ship,
you're going on a oriental trip.
Nature of the beast,
it's just the way it feast,
loved the most or
who cares the least.
Easy on the weak hearted
wouldn't want them to
join the dearly departed.
Forgive us poets our trespasses,
basically haters can
kiss all our azzes.

Never mind how others are feeling. It's your poem, and if your poems can make readers read and then reflect on their live's experiences and feel them, YOUR ARE SUCCESSFUL!!! Don't you know that's what poetry is all about?
A poem is about expression and influences. A poet's voice is to be heard! Obviously, your poems are being read, and your voice is being heard. You should congratulate yourself Grady!!!
