Hercules was chased

Even though he was
part God
had super strength in part
he had troubles
right from the very start

Jesus was chased by pharoah
eventually caught
and crucified in horror
Jesus was also part God
part man created from sod
Jesus died for our sin
Eventually Jesus rose
from the dead
When I got educated to this
I looked in the mirror and said

So why worry

I'm just a man in this
cruel mean environment
I'm thoroughly familiar with
my holy requirement
I'm not part God
I was created from earths sod
and given a brain

Jesus had a brain
Hercules had a brain
since he's only myth we have to
minus him from the chain
Brains aren't myth
they help us deal with
I always, overcome, adapt
and improvise
All things take compromise
