I had to do some mending on this x-mas holiday, big time.
If we don't patch up
and mend
whatever may end
It could be a good friendship
or a loving relationship
Cut that break please
if it's worth it
fall down on your knees
Maybe even
sail the seven seas
In search of that love
or the friendship
that got too much of a
push and shove
Love has its dog day
the kind that may
run it away
but it doesn't have to end
if we know how to mend
whether it concerns
a lover or a friend
