Sometimes we can worry too much about our imperfections.
Jumped out the bed
it was the middle
of the night
Something was wrong
I didn't feel right
So I made my choice
I had to change my course
I was headed in the
wrong direction
my dreams mirrored
this reflection
So I got down on my knees
and prayed for direction
What the Creator revealed
I try not to keep concealed
It wasn't the direction
I was headed
it was more confidence
that I needed
Confident that I was
more good than bad
For this reason I should be
more happy than sad
Every since then I've
patched azz and been glad
