It's best to do our own thang, if we're wrong we may lose. If we're spot on we may gain but there's self satisfaction that comes along with doing it our own way.
If you feel like you want to smile
smile on
If you feel like you want to laugh
laugh on
If you feel like you want to cry
then cry on
If you feel like you want to love
then love on
If you feel like you want to hate
then hate on
If you feel like you want to pig out
then eat on
But whatever you do
you've got to do your thang
Life is made for living
whether or not we want to be
loving and forgiving
Whatever is in your head
is what's important instead
We all have our ways
they're ours whether or not
if they pays
It pays to be true to self
even if it means ending up with
an empty shelf
In the long run we can say
I did it all my way
