Sometimes during the hard things makes life work better, might even put a smile on your face, where the frown was in place.
I've been making my dysfunctional
life work for years
sheded many tears
conquered quite a few fears
loved my close up dears
at times had to close my mouth
and cover my ears
and still don't get no cheers
Basically I'm treated the same
very close to resemblng this
poetic game
What's worse
my friends and family won't
even read my writing and verse
so on goes the curse
but I have no shame
I've dushed water on most of
my stupid and mean flame
about 90 percent
I live basically in my love tent
forsaking the other evil 10 percent
I heard a preacher say
if you need a miracle today
Try performing your own
before you're dead and gone
even if you have to stand alone
It takes a miracle to
love those who did you wrong
and still try to sing a happy song
My hateful attitude has shifted
so my burden has been lifted
