Some reviews have a tied tongue effect, but basically it's an out right reject.
They show up and read
They either misunderstand
what they read or
don't like it period
Then they leave a tied
tongue review
part good and part worse
they don't like your verse
Actually they should just be honest
or leave no review at all
So much for the smoke screen
true feelings can be seen
They should untie that tongue
the rope has already hung
As the poet dangles
his feet kicks from the choke
but his pen doesn't miss
a stroke
This is just another day in
the den
Surely it will happen again
I think you're right! Yes it will happen again but sometimes our words do mean something positive to someone and even if they never do they have given our souls a voice. I enjoyed the poem very much Grady.
