Come to verse
but if you come
you will get hooked
for the rest of your life
you will be booked
but there's no guarantee that
you will be looked
Your verse may meet
blind eyes
or enthusiastic surprise
It may cause you to trip
or at times angrily flip
You may get fed up
after finding that the writing
world is corrupt
Some poets even quit abrupt
Some where between coming
and going
you might figure out
what you are doing
and continue ensuing
Try to dot every eye and
cross every tee
cause some are very judgemental
on what they see
