Every since Adam got kicked
out of the garden
mans life has harden
Life surely isn't a rose
this almost everyone can propose
and they don't have to suppose
But this doesn't have to be
the way it goes
A lot of life smoothly flows

Like a river running its course
life is full of God given choice
and we all do have a voice
My voice says get out and enjoy
find a really nice toy
Oh boy
I do love to enjoy
But I've Got to stay away from
the Almond Joy
Candy with chocolate almonds and
coconut so sweet
it can make a day complete
but the fat man I may meet
It's surely hard not to self defeat

So I cut back on my candy
there are other things to make life
more dandy
Like keeping a good smile ready
and handy
When the rose thorns prick
and at times they will stick
It's best to find some kind or joy
real fast and quick
