We should appreciate every second, minute and hour of life that is good.
Maybe superstiuosly knock on wood.
The last drop of sand has dropped
still time hasn't stopped
As the hourglass was flipped
during the seconds of time to turn
I have tripped
Time not measured in sand
but in seconds on demand
Had nothing to do with a clock hand
During the turning action nothing
in this world stood still
Thousands probably turned ill
others became the victim of kill
On a brighter note many may have
found their thrill
Fat's Domino sings on blueberry hill
however I haven't had my fill
I'm just glad I'm still around to feel
The next time I flip the glass again
I'm going to smile and grin
Maybe I'll laugh out loud
and ignore the negative crowd
be more proud
I reckon
I'll appreciate the turning second
Appreciate that I still survive
as the next second arrive
