Abdi-NoorWill somebody help this dead mother bring her dreams to reality? She died when her boat capsized but her son whom she wanted to grow in an environment of peace and better opportunities survived in the tragedy.

A human being is needed to step up here to finish the job for that lady by raising her child on behalf of her, taking pride, strength and energy from fulfilling the dream of a deceased mother. Suleiman is 11 years old and was found in the shorelines of Aden after the waves have pushed him to safety.

As reported by IRIN this is what Suleiman says:

“They told me that they took her body out of the water after it had been there a week. When I asked them how she looked, they told me her body was swollen and fish ate her eyes. Her skin colour changed and she lost her hair too. I am very sad because she died. May God have mercy on her soul.

“I hope I will be able to go to school to fulfill her dream. I want to be an engineer. I wish I could hear the news of my family [the Alay clan] in Somalia too."

Suleiman's mother (don't know her name) fled from her village when stronger tribes confiscated all their property and killed others in the village. She paid 100 US dollars to human smugglers in Bosasso, Somalia who arranged a boat for her and her son, with the hope that she will reach Aden, Yemen in about two or three days of sea voyage. But the boat capsized midway and killed 148 people.

Life had put her in a situation of dilemma in which she had to choose between the sharp teeth of the shark and shrapnel of the rockets being fired by warlords in Somalia.

Having Suleiman in this kind of situation is quite horrible but i feel deeply concerned about the dreams of his mother and speak or should loudly to the world in an effort to get a sponsor for Suleiman for the sake of accomplishing the unaccomplished task his mother had left behind. Her people forced her to live in misery and die in tragedy but would you offer her a piece of comfort in her death by raising her child. She must have been crying his name when she was drowning in the salty waters of the red sea.

Much like million others in this ill-fated nation of Somalia, Suleiman is a victim of war. He is an orphan of anarchy.
