Yesterday I received Money from Somali girls/ladies in London who wanted me to distribute it to the patients suffering in the Mogadishu Hospitals. They do not know me and I do not know them but they learned that i could be a suitable person for that job when they read some of my postings at AD and at somali websites. I received an e-mail from one of the girl/ladies Zahra Ahmed who asked me if I could do that job on their behalf. I accepted it without hesitation as she, as a patriot Somali girl and I as a peace poet are connected together by a moral thread interwoven within the fabrics of peace-loving souls throughout the world. We share the same vision in helping the poor and vulnerable communities who have been victimized by wars, disease and famine. Photo: Abdi-Noor distributing the money.
Out in the open
Or under a shade
A mother is weeping
She had lost a son
He died from hunger
Out in the open
Or under a tree
A father is wailing
He had lost a daughter
She died from cholera
Out in the open
Or under a tree
A son is crying
He had lost his mother
She died from bleeding
Out in the open
or under a tree
A girl is sobbing
She had lost her father
He died from gun wounds
Out there in the street
People are scampering
They are diving for a cover
Mortars are landing on them
Amid these grisly scenes
A peace poet is shuttling
To distribute some money

Abdinoor, you gave a precise description of this relationship. She is a patriot Somali girl and Youare a peace poet. You are connected together by a moral thread interwoven within the fabrics of peace-loving souls throughout the world.
The poem is great and the message noble. Every section contains the letters H.O.O.S.A. (HOOS)Which means SHADE or ROOT. The last secton of the poem contains T.A.A.D.A. (TAADA) which means YOURS in Somali. In combination form the phrase YOUR GRASS ROOTS!
Keep helping the poor, the breaved, the disabled, the widows, the orphans, and the patients and you will get the rewards one day.
I've said it before, I'll say it again: YOU are Somalia's next best hope for peace. You are the world's next best hope for peace. Thank God for caring, compassionate poets as yourself. I pray this is just the beginnings of a flood of relief!
(((HUGS))), love and prayer, Karla. Stay safe, my (((friend/brother)))
You are definitely a peace poet, and a warrior of love. The world could use more Abdi Noor Muhammeds, that is for sure! Very well done, my caring friend; God bless you always!
(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend/sister in America, Karen Lynn in Texas. :D
Your mission of love and mercy is much needed in this world today. We live in a world that thirst and hungers for peace but requires the missing ingredients to complete the recipe. The need is so great and the means are so few.

Abdi-Noor, this poem brought tears to my eyes; we truly are not alone in this world! To know someone has been a blessing to you so you could share that with others; thank you for sharing that!
All of us must pull together; your simple poem is more profound than a million books on philosophy.
Bless you; and tell us how we can be part of the solution. Fergus
New Poetry by Abdi-Noor Haji Mohamed (Eagle Of Hope)
In the end they'll all be dancin'--all them ones that didn't die.... Dance with me in the shadows amidst the lightning and the thunder, and all that nu-cu-lar debris. See the big bang from the other side, and then open that cellar door. Go down into
Did you ever wonder what happened after the Archangel Michael through the demons out of heaven? Let one of them guide you through the origin of evil in the world.

And you should all be commended for your compassionate efforts, Abdi-Noor. As Karen says, the world truly needs many more like you.
