Love Spirals

I can see into your heart

It beats red hot like mine

Filled with tiny spirals of love

Encapsulated in layers of lust

The core though is the binder

And not the hard sea shell

And when we shudder lust off

Love remains, though hidden inside

Where only you and I can see

The life that beats our hearts

Well said, but... Your words make lust a part of love. I'm wondering in today's affairs, how much love there is in the growing number of lustful relationships. Are we writing about something that is hardly there? I do wonder. You're a good poet. I'm a poor believer, but have hope and some trust left.
