to think about

plagued by the
syndrome of solitude.
Thoughts are wonderful
but reality is more
wonderful still.
Come out from my thoughts
and stand before me.
Greet me with your smile
and talk to me till the Sunlight
comes into the room
piercing the curtain
with its radiant bloom.
I have no desire
other than you
and you are
already there
inside my heart
and there is
no one there
except you
and my
love for you.
You are not the light
burning in the darkness;
You are the light
burning as bright as the sunlight.
Pebbles, gems or gold
they all are same for me.
Winter, summer or spring
they don’t govern me.
But just one smile from you
is enough to conciliate me.
Let us step
into the day.
You lead,
I will follow
as the night.
You can go,
wherever you want
but let your heart
dance to the
tunes of my love.
I have never loved
any one in the world
more than I have loved you.
Don’t shrug your shoulder
Beloved! I am telling you the truth.
I am not with me tonight
I am far away from myself
I am lost in the midst of my own life
I haven’t met me since I have met you.

This is a fantastic poem. The title caught me and I read the first few lines and was mesmerized. This is good. Very good. Would that we all find that kind of love before death robs us of the ability to find it.
GASP! I can't imagine that you've left anyone of us girls standing upright with this MAGNIFICENT love-offering! Heady, intoxicating and utterly heartmelting. I'm with Thomas, here, Bhuwan: Shakespeare ought to be turning in his grave through sheer professional jealousy - "Wish I wrote it!!" So lovelorn, self-exposed and vulnerable - who could resist??!! Mega Mwah with this one! Especially the last four lines! Hopelessly smitten. Could go on 4EVA!! Needless to say am saving..... Kate XXXX
