Will my heart ever get justice?

Poem Artwork

My heart and my mind,

they used to be best of friends.

Closely locked in each other’s arms

they used to waltz jointly as one in peace.

But of late, they are not.

There was a bit of misunderstanding,

they both stood their ground

and just let each other be.

And unfortunately

 in the midst

of this confusion

- an absence of understanding.

My heart has died

and now, my mind

 is mourning its passing.

And I feel like someone

 who’s just stumbled

 on the corpses

of the universal deities.

There is no one

and no force in the earth

who can reincarnate my heart

and gift it back to me.

It is dead now,

my own mind killed it.

My mind is the culprit.

Will my heart ever get justice?

I wish I could say

‘One day surely’ – but am sorry, I can’t.

Thoughts are moving at a rapid pace

but I don’t know what’s on my mind.

Heart - it shall be forever exploited

by the mind in this materialistic world.

It has been cremated now.

But what shall I do

with the ashes of my heart?

I wish I could build a Mindproof heart.

I am quite "in tune" with these sentiments, my friend. Love and peace to you, Bhuwan,

Wonderful but your lovely heart must come back! Recreation and rebirth, resurrection are all reality which is brought about by the miracle of love and faith. You have been emanating so much love across the years that is sufficient proof of enough energy within your lovely self to recreate your heart.
