There is no light
As bright as love
But no heart can glimpse it
Without the illumination of love

There is no sea
As deep as love
But no heart can reach it
Without the termination of lust

There is no mountain
As high as love
But no heart climb it
Without the aid of trust

There is no certainty
As certain as love
But no heart can illustrate it
Without the constraint of hope

There is no song
As sweet as love
But no heart can sing it
Without the resolution of love
