summer is impossible

It's winter here downunder
my blood is thick as mud
so I hibernate to my computer
and leave the house assunder

I know I'm standing on my noggin
in the land where Gum tree's grow
I read your work hours behind y'all
timezone's make it fair dinkum sloggin

To those who read my work
I thank you deeply and exclaim
I'll try to get back to you
and at least leave a smirk
