The soul has its own palace
its own Taj Mahal
What splendors await us
on the other side
No walls, but gardens
No obstacles to understanding
Your thoughts dovetailing
with mine's
Oh, the soul of Man,
Oscar Wilde saw it coming
A society not burdened
by poverty or material possessions
The soul,
child-like as Lord Jesus
meant it to be,
Not attached to the old castle,
the mortal coil
untrammeled by Time
and earthly things
Beyond,
where the soul
Is in a kind of Rishikesh,
a place of friendship and communion

आत्मा
आत्मा का अपना महल है
अपना ही ताज महल
वहाँ दूसरी तरफ़
कैसी-कैसी शानदार चीज़ें हमारा इंतज़ार कर रही हैं
कोई दीवारें नहीं, बस बाग़-बगीचे
समझने में कोई रुकावट नहीं
आपके विचार मेरे विचारों से
पूरी तरह मेल खाते हुए
ओह, इंसान की आत्मा,
ऑस्कर वाइल्ड ने इसे पहले ही देख लिया था
एक ऐसा समाज जो गरीबी
या चीज़ों के बोझ से दबा न हो
आत्मा,
बिल्कुल बच्चे जैसी, जैसा कि प्रभु यीशु
चाहते थे कि वह हो,
पुराने महल से जुड़ी नहीं,
यानी इस नश्वर शरीर से बंधी नहीं,
