Spanish guitar, we went home
and jumped into bed; I got into song again.
Turned the pegs, loosened the strings,
Open chords tonight, my dear!
Something in the way I held her
carried us away to Andalusia, the 'duende'
I can't say I'm Paco de Lucía
but we grew closer, real friendly.
Go on! Go on! Deeper with this life,
this English poem, this gypsy song
