Certainly, some great sights according to your poem. Especially of the ducks and of the grandness of the place.
But it seems like manor houses like this with multiple windows and a huge, cliff-like appearance, seem to always be barren of any landscaping in front. Just a huge flat area of dirt, gravel, cobblestone, brick or even concrete.
The result is, they look very dreary and dismal places to live in. Especially if it's a single family with all those empty rooms used only when great events take place and the huge area in front of the manner probably was filled with carriages. Now filled with cars.
Like here in America, they pave paradise and put up a parking lot.
