The Arsonist

The Arsonist

 

She lays there naked

Eyes closed, dreaming

Feeling his presence

She does not move

 

Intense fear or anticipation

A spark touches lightly her lips

Heat from her fingertips

Sliding slowly down.

 

Flammable liquids flow

Arms around her tight

Friction and heat rising

Suddenly flames flying high

 

Eyes wide open

Gasping for air to burn

The whole of him inside

Fueling intensely the fire

 

Hotly gushing hoses deep

Sirens and loud screams ensue

Her naked writhing body burns

Into a mound of afterglow

 

The Arsonist escapes again

Leaving the cerebral scene

His fingers drawing good-bye

Across her aching breasts

Man, you made a gorgeous jewel--youra jeweler, aren't you? This poem is so hot I had to dream of streams to cool off as I read it. Great, great sensuality from start to finish; I think I need to be near a woman who makes fires, now. Every sentence feeds into the next with perfect passionate involvement. Thanks for this exquisite writing, Dayvid.

People who commit arson are criminal. The poem was well crafted I just did not like the intent.

Quick on the scene, Dayvid! There's always the firescape ladder when in need. On his way down to put out another fire, a prescribed burn! A quick hose down shower, some Old Spice and a manicure for those artistic fingers.
