Poem Artwork

Sweetest Plateau

Mischief was seeded in velvet blue shadow
Tended by sight of the moon
Roots reaching downward for dreamers below
Piping a cavalier tune

Fertile and free, as they dance in the glow
Of the spirit in gentlest slumber
Beguiled temptations to sweetest plateau
Soar towards heights unencumbered

Lost in the dreams of finest desires
Authentic in more than mere wish
Cautions disposed thru peaceful retire
Euphorically raptured by bliss

Dreams are the vessel for mystery's seed
Where mischief may riot and vine
As the wild and mild couple and breed
Morning gives sway to design

Okay, first I just stared at the picture, which is wonderful. :-) The poem is most enchanting, very fluid, ethereal imagery. I like it.

YES! To everything everyone else has said and I will add this: I do believe this is the very first "surreal" poem that has awakened in me the lustful desires of the flesh. Ya ourta be proud.

Very subtle sensuous beauty Lady A! Excellent as is
all your work!

Hey thanks for the metaphysical church info, Anita!. I have to check it out. I've been to group meetings of such, but not a church. I find it very spiritually rewarding!
