Some addictions, their outcomes and their impact upon others if positive and inspiring are worth indulging. This is certainly represents one of them. The work of the pen is claimed to be mightier than the sword. True. Literary junkies jacked up with ink have made millions of people emotionally and spiritually high with their writings, changed the course of the world, even brought down empires. 'Gentle violence'? Fascinating oxymoron. A violence for our own good? 'Silence as armour'? Too often we have to make a noise to be heard, a noise with no solidity. The loudest most productive noises are often found in silence - we walk past too many good vibes at our peril.
Don't go into rehab Anita, keep the fountain flowing. We become addicted to your addiction
