Poem Artwork

BEFORE THE ECHO

In the corridors between the stars
Comets echoed as they called out
To souls basking in a lunar glow
Charging their evolution by repetition
In an endless loop of silence
Suspended on marble inhalations
Giving form where there was none
Filling vapors before movements
Of illusion, where hole braids whole
Tight in the transparency of nothingness
That is read with delight by cerebral braille
Beneath cascading canopies of heaven
As a blanket swaddles each new thought
Feeding the hungry babe of question
That resides within the conscience
Glowing by the growth of knowlege
That courses through the veins
Before the times of measure
Before the times of speech
Before the times of times
Before
The
Echo

In the begining was the word...What came first? the word, or the thought behind the word? This is how this has left me Anita...pondering the profound Lol...I thank you for that LOl...gonna have a chat with the universe now lol.

Excellent celestial and transcendant sojourn.

ADORE this image! My kind of "nothingness"! :)) This has a wonderful sub-sonic feel in the deeper regions of the shadows of the mind and soul. Wonderful description of that which is so hard to pin down and define. Weighty and yet graceful... like whales! :)) K xx

You describe the evolution perfectly.
Every line...perfect.

Anita ...

You are taking a journey here on the rocket of transcendental surrealism and I like the cajoling impressions and imagery.

Such a mind you have - from farts to this in less than a month. You do indeed have a multifarious muse that never lets you down.

I read this twice and then saved it. Each verse, each line, each phrase is almost a stand alone poem of its own and too rich and vibrant to absorb in one setting. This is a classic work of beauty to be savored over the years. Lovely.

Creation is a circle, it all comes round, beginning, end another beginning, and like an echo resounds all over the place. Beautiful and deep poem. Victor
