Eye Above The Moon

Poem Artwork

“Surrender!”
Spoke the eye above the moon.
"This night. This night. Tonight."
“Er.. Yeah, right, okay.. “
“To what, specifically?”
“Surrender! To me! Now!”
“Um, why? ‘Cause you sit above,
On high, at the moment?”
"Submit!" says younger light. "Above
Is nothing, untouchable."
"Feel me how? I admit I don’t
Know where to go!
If I sit too high, or too right or too left,
I am, as always, nothing."
"Surrender!” the eye keeps demoting.
“Stop!" I say, comically, as I’m ’caught
Between a dark, and a loft spot’.

After Diana's description, I can see why some might see a third eye, but it seems to me that if one is hearing voices, they are in deep trouble.
