Chance is perhaps the pseudonym of God when he does not wish to sign his work.

TWO SIDES TO EVERY COIN
Throw a coin, into the fountain, see the rings trace its descent
Make a wish upon the waters, give your thoughts to free ascent
Hopes now cradled by the motion, of the tossing of the coin
In a reservoir of wishes, dreams of strangers, now are joined
If a coin lands on another, do their wishes now connect?
Thru random links of influence, we never would suspect?
Is there more that can be seen beneath the surface of the pool?
As we think our wishes private, when at heart, they're really dual
