WITHIN

Words that are said, deeds that are done
Take form in the moment, yet leave us options
In the blink of an eye, new thoughts usurp old
A passage choices, fresh thresholds unfold

At times there is order, and others are chance
To enter this world as God planned your entrance
From the day of first breath, with the air on our skin
Our dear lords voice echoed words deep within

They rest there still, and wait for an ear
His message of comfort, love that perservers
He said, "this life, this world all for you..
I gave in true love, before you were new"

Its yours for the taking, but handle with care
When you need assistance, just call me with prayer
And tho it may seem that we don't quickly connect
Just sit in the silence, take time to reflect

And open your mind to the voice deep within
Give me your sorrows, your troubles, and sins
Your body I gave you, along with your soul
My grandest creation, my love could extole

So make your choices with wisdom and thought
As you walk with each other and share what I taught
Show kindness and love, devotion and trust
It more than the one.....its about all of us.
