Head Trips Are Absolutely Free

Vicarious escapes tempt my dreamy nature,it seems I'm so easy to
corrupt
I have the best intentions, each morn when I awake, yet take the
nearest U-Turn so abrupt!
I tried to make a list, and follow it straight thru, smooth
sailing has such logical appeal
But drifted off to sea, and walked along the shore, while awed
by sunsets vividly surreal!

Now I am an adult, YEAH I'm the BOSS of me, and don't want to
seem like an airhead
But I can just take off, like mist upon the wind, and follow any
notion thats half-bred


But sometimes trips unplanned, can lead to places GRAND
Remember now I am the BOSS of me!!!!
Yeah I will take the tour, first class, if nothing more
Cause headtrips are ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!

And so some things will wait
As fantasies inflate
And daily life stands frozen in MY time
These mindless escapades...........
All manner of charades.............
Could blur the lofty genius of Einstein!

The future is all mine,
As yet so undefined......
But things could be much worse if given thought
Old worries out the door
Obligations I'll ignore
Just "Kiss My Ass" and and bother me NO MORE!!!
