Raise Me on the Wind

Poem Artwork

Who can hear the wind,
And the song carried high above?
Who can smell the spring time,
And who can feel the love?

To all there is a rhythm,
In this life so ill-defined,
Lessons learned at every stage;
In our extra-corporeal whistle-rhyme.

Raise me on the wind,
And I will hum the tune,
Of life destined for another world,
Beyond celestial moons.

Join me, my friend,
On this universal ride,
And we’ll dance the stars together,
And sail the ethereal tide.

Your words are so fluid. They breath life into what you write. And "extra-corporeal whistle-rhyme"--where did that come from? It's gorgeous! Gotta read more of your doodles!

You soar with this beauty, Frank!
I love to sail the ethereal tide!;-)

The whole poem is a jewel but these lines are exceptional

"Raise me on the wind,
And I will hum the tune,
Of life destined for another world,
Beyond celestial moons."
