THE PRESIDENT
Why?
Why are so many people without a home?
Is it for the fact that you,
the society and I didn’t care?
Or maybe, it is the lack of
knowledge of our people.
Take, a look closely your neighbors, or perhaps a friend.
Glance again, it maybe a sister,
brother or a kin.
We all make excuses when it
is not us it is them.
We questions one selves,
do the homeless lack skills,
Or simply they are lazy?
Is it only when society speaks on assisting the homeless?
Oh, ii is election time, is when
they need the most votes?
Why is this? Is it that so many are too scared?
Or is it they see themselves as one of them. Have you ever ask yourself why are they homeless?
Take time and stare.
for that simple reason,
It definitely one day they
could be you, me and who?
