A literary man's destination, at large,
Is a series of qualitative leaps
Clear of lack and abundance.
There are mountains and streams,
Births and deaths, delusions and
The grades of understanding, yet
In attachment cherry blossom time
And in aversion chaff and draff,
Much better burnt to ashes --
Like nobody's business he behaves.
Always,
Deborah
Like your ending where a reference to "burning" someone's literary work because it is, "nobody's business," ends with, "he behaves." I can only conclude that it's some kind of misbehavior for literary work to be burned rather than published.
