According to Sun-zi's military treatise,

To fight and conquer the mortal enemy

In all battles is not supreme excellence --

Supreme excellence consists of breaking

The enemy's resistance without fighting.

All those who possess excellent qualities

And bring them to the state of flawlessness

Are still far away from sagely minded men

Who are able to do (or not to do) the job

Without resorting to their skills and qualities,

Skipping the stage of perfection at high noon.

This is what we term Transcendentality,

The state of integrity and indiscriminating

Between the superfine and off-quality,

In which one becomes oneself the whole.

To be the whole is to realize one's weaknesses

As the advantages to proceed with no fear.
