'Be upon your guard and keep in mind

That personal attraction has nothing to do

With causality; and the power of affection

Does not depend on effectivity of action.'

To my understanding he then explained,

'Where there is causality,

There will not be separation;

Where there is effectivity of action,

There will be no tedious work.

'Where there is neither separation

Nor tedious work, you will not have

To seek the decoration of forms

To make the person attractive;

And where there is no such need

In creating the air, there will indeed

Be no pursuit for external things --

They will in due time drop in

To your hands by themselves. . .'
