The feeling of oppression

Leads us to giving up the fight,

Making us unable to resolve,

As if we are in a frozen box.

This is because we have

Too many conflicting and

'Urgent' items in mind

Appeared all at once.

It seems like everything

Has to be done, and it all

Has to be done right now.

And so the primal part

Of our brain kicks in, and

We begin to experience fear,

Panic, misgiving, . . or worse.

We may even experience

The feeling of depression and

Hopelessness. These emotions

Can pursue us in the forest

About to be eaten by beasts,

But they are absolutely not

An appropriate response

To our daily to-do-duty.

So, what shall we do?

Let us pray time and again,

But at that we have to know

That prayer is what everything

Is depended on Lord,

Then duty is what everything

Is depended on us, you and me.
